We are currently looking for a highly organized, responsible and trustworthy experienced Administrative Assistant to join our fast-growing and innovative footwear brand and business consulting firm based in SE Portland, Oregon. An energetic, willing to grow with us-candidate, the position will start as a part time at 25 to 30 hours per week with opportunity to grow into a permanent/full-time position.
We need someone like "YOU"! ➢ A resourceful self-starter with a positive attitude and problem-solving skills. ➢ Flexible and able to multi-task in a challenging environment. ➢ Conscientious and professional with good work ethic. ➢ Able to communicate in person, on the telephone and in writing. ➢ Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office. ➢ Proactive ideas for operating better and faster, and most importantly a desire to learn. ➢ Excellent history of problem solving and going above and beyond. ➢ Must be motivated, task oriented, being able to work in the fast paced office environment. ➢ Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team. ➢ Provide excellent customer service. ➢ Strong interpersonal communication skills. ➢ A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in office administrative work with light accounting.
Basic Administrative and Bookkeeping responsibilities: ➢ Reviewing and screening incoming Phone calls ➢ Reviewing and sorting mail, ➢ Composing correspondence and reports ➢ Organizing and maintaining accurate records and files ➢ Arranging travels ➢ Shipping and Receiving ➢ Organizing customer database ➢ Generic Bookkeeping, include A/P, A/R and reports ➢ Customer Service, including handling orders, following up with customers and communicating with our warehouse and shipping department.
Skills: ➢ English/Japanese, English/Chinese, bilingual a plus ➢ Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in an administrative support capacity. ➢ Associates Degree or higher preferred. ➢ Microsoft Office and Quickbooks: Intermediate to Advance
